Dance

I first performed at Dixon Hall at Tulane University as a mouse in Lelia Haller's student production of the Nutcracker. I was 5 years old. The last time I performed under her direction was at Nunemaker Hall at Loyola University as a Huntsman in Peter and the Wolf. I also studied modern and tap with Susan Dorner and Jazz and modern with Beverly Trask at Newcomb. Since then I have cheoreographed student perfomances at ISAS Festvals and have encouraged all students to actively participate in the choreography process by supplying them with their footpaths, but with allowing them more control over their own bodies and movements as they follow the footpaths, encouraging sponteanious interactin with each other during the early stages of the choreography process. I also have designed some of their costumes. Still, my favorite type of dance is Acadian social dance.
