dance

I first performed tap at Municipal auditorium
in New Orleans with Jean Kirkpatrick and her dancers as a "Q.T".

I then performed at Dixon Hall at Tulane University as a mouse
in Lelia Haller's student production of the Nutcracker. It was 1965 and I was
5 years old. The last time I performed under her direction was
many years later at Nunemaker Hall at Loyola University as a Huntsman in Peter
and the Wolf.

I also studied modern and tap with Susan Dorner,
performing a solo piece at the Newcomb Fine Arts Festival while
still in high school.

I later studied Jazz and modern with
Beverly Trask while at Newcomb College.

Still, my favorite type of dance is
Acadian Social dance.
